Return Policy

Unless a different return policy is identified, products sold by Isime are covered by this Typical Return Policy. Products under this Return Policy may be returned a) within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund. All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. All items returned for a refund may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Many manufacturers offer additional factory coverage. You should always contact the manufacturer of your item directly for information regarding eligibility and specific Terms and Conditions.

30-Day Return Policy

Items covered by this policy (products for which Isime affirms this item may be returned for a substitute or reimbursement within 30 days) must be returned to Isime within 30 days of the statement date for this policy to apply. Additional coverage, if any, is provided solely by the product’s manufacturer (as indicated by such manufacturer).

Non-Refundable 30-Day Return Policy

Products that state “This item is enclosed by Isime as Non-Refundable 30-Day Return Policy”, or items labeled as Non-refundable (or similar labeling) must be returned to Isime within 30 days of the statement date for this policy to apply. Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a substitute of the identical item.

Desktop PC, Notebook, and Tablet PC Return Policy

Under this policy all Desktop PCs/Notebooks/Tablet PCs are non-refundable, and this supersedes all other return policies. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. Any Desktop PCs/Notebook/Tablet PC that is deemed defective may be returned for a replacement within 30 days only, but a request for repayment will not be granted. If a Desktop PC/Notebook/Tablet PC is returned for a substitute, but no problems are found, the Desktop PC/Notebook/Tablet PC will be returned at your (the buyer’s) cost. You should be certain in your judgment to purchase a Desktop PC/Notebook/Tablet PC and must agree to this policy before completing your order. By confirming your order, you indicate your agreement to this policy.

A defective Desktop PC, Notebook, or Tablet PC that is returned for a replacement may be repaired or replaced at Isime as discretion, unless otherwise required by law. We strive to uphold our standard RMA processing time for these types of items; however, in some situations the item must be sent to the manufacturer for repairs. Unfortunately Isime cannot accelerate the RMA repair process in these situations, as we must abide by the manufacturer’s recognized processing time. Second-Hand Items

Isime often sells items that are listed as “Second-Hand” Refurbished. Because these items are sold at greatly reduced prices, they bear this limited 7-day refund-only return policy through Isime. Such items can only be returned within 7 days of the applicable invoice date. Isime cannot provide replacement service for these items, as this stock is limited. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of these items is with the buyer. These items have been tested for functionality, but may have superficial physical defects including (but not limited to) scratches, dings or dents. Should these items prove defective following their purchase, the buyer (not the manufacturer, distributor, or Isime) assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repairs, unless otherwise required by law. These items are not covered by any 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

If you purchase a Second-Hand product you will receive only receive the item itself or otherwise stated. Accessories may not be included with Second-Hand products, even if the missing accessory is required for the item to function properly.

Software Return Policy

Opened Retail or OEM software can only be returned for replacement, and replacement RMAs will only be honored if the returned software is defective or damaged.
Retail Boxed software may only be returned for refund within 30 days of the invoice date if the packaging is unopened and factory sealed. No software returns will be accepted after 30 days.
OEM software is non-refundable once purchased and delivered. OEM versions are intended for system builders only and cannot be transferred to another PC once installed. Purchasers of this software are required to comply with the terms of the applicable System Builder License, including responsibility for providing all end-user support. Isime is not responsible for system/software incompatibility, and incompatibility issues do not qualify software as damaged or defective. Customers are encouraged to contact the respective software publisher for answers to technical questions, such as minimum system requirements, prior to purchase.

Manufacturer’s Warranties

Isime does not offer any express warranties. However, many of the products available through Isime are covered by Manufacturers’ Warranties. If a product is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, it will be stated on that product’s web page. Manufacturers’ warranty details are typically available at the manufacturer’s website. Please note that products in this category are non-refundable unless otherwise indicated.

Products that state “This item can be returned to the product manufacturer only” must be returned directly to the product manufacturer for repair or replacement, unless otherwise required by law. For these items, the warranty policy provided by the product manufacturer explicitly requires that any returns, repairs etc. be requested and processed directly by the consumer (or “end-user”) of the item.

[LCD Monitor] Limited Non-Refundable 30-Day Return Policy

Products that state “This item is covered by Isime as Non-Refundable 30-Day Return Policy”, or items labeled as Non-refundable (or similar labeling) must be returned to Isime within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a replacement of the same item.

Isime sells many products such as Notebooks and Monitors that feature LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screens. Isime adheres to the dead-pixel policy that is observed by the majority of our manufacturers. In order to declare any product with an LCD screen “defective” and eligible for replacement or refund through any applicable Isime Return Policy, there must be a minimum of 8 (eight) dead LCD pixels.

Physical Damage Policy

Physically damaged items cannot be returned to Isime. Improper installation of CPU fans and/or improper clocking may cause CPUs to chip. CPUs that are chipped, burnt or have bent/broken pins are considered physically damaged and cannot be returned for refund or replacement. Physical damage includes (but is not limited to) improper handling and any other type of damage sustained by irregular use.

Isime encounters bent pins regularly when inspecting physically damaged CPUs. Forcing a processor into position will not solve an installation problem and may void your Isime return policy.

If you return any physically damaged item to Isime, the item will be returned to you at your expense.

Isime Discounts

When Isime offers deals that include two or more services/products must be purchased together in order to receive a discount. Items may be returned for replacement within their applicable Isime Return Policy Period. If a product is returned for a refund, the discount will be voided, and the discount amount will be deducted from the amount of the refund.

Out-of-Stock or Back-Order Items

Every now and then items are returned to Isime after the product has been discontinued. If Isime no longer carries an item that is sent in for replacement, or if that item is simply out of stock, the item will be sent to our Back-Order Department. You will be notified via email with two options: either Isime can send you a comparable replacement item, or a refund of the current market value of the product will be issued. A current-market-value repayment may not exceed the original statement price. If the item is returned within 30 days of the original statement date, a full refund will be issued.
